Club History

The CBS Silhouettes Synchro Club, was formed in 1990, it is an amateur not for profit club, which teaches and promotes the sport of synchronized swimming.

We offer a recreational program for beginners, as well as a multi-leveled competitive stream.
Our season generally starts as soon as Labour Day weekend is over and continues through to
the beginning of June, when our annual water show takes place.

Our home pool has always been at the CBS Pool-Recreation Complex, in Conception Bay South, NL, where swimmers participate in both water and land training.  Practices usually consist of half an hour of flexibility, endurance, and strength training, and 1 - 3 hours of in-water training.

Our swimmers generally compete in several competitions
per year: Mt. Pearl Winterfest, Provincials, Atlantic Regional
Championship (ARC), and the National Qualifier.

There are also invitational meets from other clubs,
and various skills events which take place throughout
the swim season.
